Teller doesn’t take Stoughton robbery suspect seriously

STOUGHTON, Mass. — Rodney Dangerfield got a lot of laughs by complaining, “I can’t get no respect.”
A would-be bank robber in Stoughton knows the feeling, our news partners at the Enterprise reported.
On Friday afternoon, a man tried to rob a Randolph Saving Bank branch at 15 Pleasant St. by passing a teller a note.
Police said that when the teller didn’t take him seriously, he ran off.
The attempted holdup occurred at 5:45 p.m.
