Sand Sculptures at Revere Beach© By Felina Silver Robinson 2015
Summer doesn’t really feel like summer under we’ve taken a trip to Revere Beach for the Annual Sand Sculpture Event. People come from all over to share they talents hoping for the top spot in the winner’s circle. These pictures are all before the judging part of the competition. Of course you will see my husband and children amid the sculptures and whatever else happened to be of interest to me at the moment. I hope you enjoy the pictures (all pictures taken by Felina Silver Robinson).
Not Just another day at the by Today I enjoyed spending time with my children and my husband. What a day it was. The competition part of the sculpting event had actually completed yesterday, but the sculptures were all still in place. Parking took 30 minutes to come by, but it was more than worth the wait. Upon entry on the beach we saw amazingly strung kites almost invisibly floating among the white puffy clouds. People of all types, families, couples, groups of friends, you name it they were there. Packed like cattle. Some oblivious to the event but enjoying the beach. Kite flyers happy for the perfect weather. Vendors awaiting their crowds. Of course we had to enjoy some fried dough. There were groups and groups of people fighting for a spot to take their pictures. Band music playing in the background while the sun and the humidity pounded down on its prey. None of this matters as long as you got what you came for and I share with you all that I was able to capture. I hope you enjoy the array! Photos and Story by Felina Silver Robinson
