N.H. homes evacuated after propane leak

NORTH HAMPTON, N.H. —Several homes were evacuated because of a large propane leak Sunday afternoon.

North Hampton, N.H. police said a large tank leaked in the area of South Road. Emergency officials evacuated homes on South Road and nearby Post Road for about an hour. Residents were allowed back at about 3:15 p.m.

Officials were trying to determine what caused the leak. It was not immediately clear how large the tank was.

There were no reported injuries.
