Truck fire snarls morning commute on Route 3

No injuries reported in Dorchester fire
State Police

BOSTON — A truck caught fire on Route 3 in Dorchester early Thursday morning.

The fire broke out shortly before 6 a.m. in a southbound lane.

Only one southbound lane was open, and motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

There were no reports of any injuries.
