Rape victim filed lawsuit last month
BOSTON —Emerson College has changed the name of its School of Communication for one day to honor fictitious television anchorman Ron Burgundy. And that’s kind of a big deal.

Actor and comedian Will Ferrell, who plays Burgundy was at the Boston school in character Wednesday for a morning news conference and naming ceremony.
There was also an evening screening of “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”
It’s one in a series of promotional events for the movie, the sequel to 2004 hit “Anchorman.”
Ferrell anchored a newscast as Burgundy in Bismarck, N.D., over the weekend. Then he went to Canada to help cover curling trials for a broadcaster there.
