Tommy Hoang hit sign at Stratton Mountain
A 16-year-old Randolph teen has died after a snowboarding crash in Vermont, according to officials.
Tommy Hoang was snowboarding at Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont on Saturday when he crashed into a sign near a wooded area, according to police.
Stratton Mountain Ski Patrol found Hoang moments later without a pulse, but medical personnel at the Carlos Otis Clinic were able to reestablish one.
Hoang was flown by helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, but he later died of his injuries.
