BOSTON — A man was in court Monday, accused of breaking into a boat that was docked in Boston and posing as a police officer when confronted by the owners, police said.
Eric Pfalzgraff, who turned 39 Monday, broke into the boat docked off Commercial Street, police said. When a Boston couple returned to the boat, they found the man onboard eating cake, drinking beer, and smoking cigars.
When confronted, he allegedly claimed to work for the Boston Police Harbor Patrol.
At the time, Pflazgraff was allegedly wearing the man’s Rolex watch but returned it before police took him into custody.
Pflazgraff was held on $5,000 and ordered to undergo a three-week evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.
