Mom why does everyone hate me?

Sweetie no one hates you, they just don’t understand you.

Why do they make fun of everything I do?

Because they don’t understand. They don’t get you. They want to, but they don’t.

Is that my fault?

No, it’s not your fault when people don’t take the time to understand. It’s their responsibility to take the time to find a way to understand you and what you’re going through. They should put themselves in your place and then they will understand..

Mommy I love you, everything is going to be ok.

Yes sweetie, everything will be ok as long as you know that whenever you need me, I’ll be there. When you cry, I’ll wipe away your tears. Just remember to stand proud, never be ashamed of who and what you are. Remember that people only bother those that they admire or wish they were more like. You are my sweet, strong, bright and shiny star.
