Archives For Poland
Donald Tusk spoke out this week calling the new production and sale of Polish graphene a “historic moment” and hinting that it will lead on to similar projects in the future.
The Prime Minister was referring to the new production and sales by Nano Carbon – a firm owned by both Industrial Development Agency (ARP) and mining specialists KGHM – and gave the speech at a special celebratory event.
He stressed the fact that Poland had many scientists and that thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of scientists, “streams of money” will be channelled to them as their achievements helped to provide an opportunity for major benefits – including financial ones.
President of the Industrial Development Agency Wojciech Dabrowski suggested that the country must now use graphene as a stepping stone. “We have the infrastructure, we have a product … and it can be produced at a competitive price … but it is not enough to keep us going in the future. We need strong and flexible projects and we need to use all of the opportunities the we have at our disposal.”
