Police said that a witness told them that the driver apparently knew they hit someone, as the driver briefly stopped before speeding off from the scene.

Witnesses said the victim was thrown and landed in the street and partially rolled under a parked car.

“I heard someone screaming. My mom said call police and I ran over,” said Kiana Rivera.

“It was pretty bad, because I spoke with the police officer and he said it doesn’t look good,” said Beverly Ross, who witnessed the crash.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Police said the car, possibly dark green in color, likely had damage to its front end and windshield.

Marihuana farm found on the Carver/Plympton City Lines

If you happened to be driving near the Plympton/Carver line, you might have noticed the smell of Marihuana. Well, you were right. A pot-farm was shut down in a joint effort by the Plympton and Carver police departments on Friday, August 16, 2013. I wonder if the pot-farm growers were trying to get ahead on the sale of medical Marihuana. All joking and speculation aside, the street value of this find was estimated at $10,000.
