Woman faces drunken driving charge after crashing into Dover toll booth

DOVER, N.H. —A 23-year-old woman was charged with drunken driving after she crashed into the Dover toll plaza on the Spaulding Turnpike on Tuesday night, police said.

The crash caused extensive damage to an unmanned toll booth and Graves was trapped inside the SUV. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Wentworth Douglas Hospital.

Speed and alcohol appeared to be factors in the crash, troopers said.

Graves was arrested at the hospital and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call state police at 603-223-8490.
